About the product

This is designed for lower ability students and could take between 20 minutes and an hour depending upon the ability of your students.  It is designed to help students understand the inequalities in the football business.  The lesson objective is:

To be able to sort and explain the connections of a football factory worker to the global market place.

The students then watch a short clip from the BBC web site/Times online web site about boys and girls working in factories in India.  This leads into the main kinaesthetic worksheet.  The students have to classify and arrange the circle of life in relation to a football.  This helps identify the main winners and losers in the business.

The lesson ends by asking volunters to take the place of different people from todays story.  The students then ask each volunteer a set of questions based on what they have learnt today.
