About the product

These worksheets incorporate a range of varied activities designed to help your students better understand the life of the Kayapo Indians, in Brazil's Amazon rainforest.  Initially the first worksheet provides information on the traditional village and way of life.  Following on from this the students must classify a range of facts into four groups:

• Forest Uses
• Caring for the forest
• Shifting cultivation
• Traditional way of life

This leads in to the final activity which involves the students pretending to be a member of the Kayapo tribe.  They must follow the writing frame provided to help them create a letter to an official about how they live their life, and why.
