About the product

This power point is on deposition and is a very useful easy to understand presentation.  It is very colourful and has various animations throughout.  The first slide explains in simple terms what deposition means.  The next slide shows real photographs on deposition on coastlines alongside an animation.  Following this you meet the 'silt twins', they tell you how they used to be part of a big rock and how they became silt.  The next few slides have detailed animations on suspension, transportation and deposition.  It then goes on to explain deltas and how they have a number of mouths and distributaries.  There is a real life image of the delta in Bangladesh.  The final slide allows the students to reflect on the learning process.
