About the product

This lesson activity is aimed mainly at KS3 but can be used for middle/ lower ability KS4 students.

It focuses on building geographical vocabulary through discussion of images relating to volcanoes.

Each slide contains key words and a question or questions which allow pupils to think and interpret the image.

Pupils are encouraged to be able to describe volcanic landforms and processes and to be able to empathise with people caught up in volcanic events.
